A safe, fun place, to learn to sing, or to learn to sing better.

Welcome

I am Marshall (Marsh) Brodeur. I am a musician, a vocalist, a teacher and a musical instrument. My musical instrument is a hybrid of a reed instrument and a string instrument and that is how I operate, how I create music, how I "sing" and how I teach singing.

I put "sing" in quotes because pretty much everybody can "sing." We were born with this instrument, so it stands to reason that we would use it, whether we were using it right, or not. Singing and music are a very important part of how we humans have communicated for a very long time.

Singing is good for the soul, good for the mind and good for the body. It has been used to celebrate, to pray, to grieve, and to communicate since humans began populating the Earth.

Singing lessons used to be for people who wanted to persue singing in school, theater or professionally. Now, thanks to karaoke, everybody has the opportunity to sing a solo in front of a live audience. You can also join choral groups or community theater to sing with a group pf people, which is said to be the best music stress reliever because you are sharing your voice with a group, to make one unified voice.

I have seen singing reduce stress, build confidence, reduce shyness, help someone discover a hidden talent and a new identity. I have seen and experienced singing improve health and even extend life.

If your going to sing, it's much easier to sing correctly than incorrectly. Oh and it sounds better too (=    It isn't rocket science. It is one of the easiest instruments to learn, because you don't have to read music, you just have to hear the note, process the note and sing the note correctly. Much of that, you probably do naturally. It's fun, it's easy and who knows where it might take you. Contact us with any questions below.
